Hipertransaminasemia mantenida debida a miopatía

Presentamos el caso de un niño que desde los 4 años de vida mantiene
unas cifras elevadas de transaminasas, sin otros hallazgos clínicos ni
analíticos de interés. Se atribuye inicialmente dicha elevación a una
hepatitis tóxica, en relación con un tratamiento con tuberculostáticos.
Sin embargo, el diagnóstico final es de una distrofia muscular tipo
Becker, con hígado sano.
Abstract
We present the case of a child who from the age of 4 has had high
levels of transaminases without other clinical or analytical findings
of further interest. Such high levels are initially attributed to toxic
hepatitis, related to a treatment with tuberculostatics. However the
final diagnosis is a Becker type muscular distrophy with healthy liver.
